What Fakarni stores

Fakarni stores reminder data on your device so the app can show your reminders, schedule local notifications, and keep your settings available between launches.

Voice capture and reminder parsing

When you use voice capture, the app requests microphone and speech recognition access from iOS. Spoken reminder text stays on device unless a production parsing gateway is enabled for the submitted build. If that gateway is enabled, reminder text may be sent securely to the gateway only to interpret the reminder you asked the app to create.

Fakarni does not use your reminder text for advertising or cross-app tracking.

Calendar access

Calendar saving is optional. If you enable Apple Calendar sync, Fakarni requests calendar access only when you turn that feature on. If permission is denied, your reminders still remain available in the app and through local notifications.

Analytics

Fakarni can send anonymous product analytics to help improve app quality and understand which features are being used. Analytics can be turned off in the app settings. Raw speech transcripts and reminder titles are not sent in analytics events.

Third-party services

Depending on the release configuration, Fakarni may rely on a production parsing gateway and an analytics provider to deliver the features described above. Those services only receive the minimum data needed to perform their function for the app.

Data retention

Reminder data is stored on your device until you edit or delete it. If you contact support by email, the contents of that email will be retained long enough to respond and handle follow-up.

Children

Fakarni is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children through the app.

Security

We use the protections available in iOS and our hosting/providers to protect data involved in app functionality, analytics, and support communications.

Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, the effective date at the top of this page will be updated.
